Some of you may remember my post requesting prayers for my aunt who was suffering with cancer. Sadly yesterday my beautiful bubbly aunt lost her fight with this terrible disease. There are no words to express our families anguish and pain, we take comfort in knowing she is now in Gods care with her father. My thanks in advance.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

Praying for God’s comfort for you and your family and eternal rest for your aunt.

Father, we place this dear aunt into your hands;
Acknowledge a sheep of your own fold,
A lamb of your own flock,
A sinner of your own redeeming.
Enfold her in the arms of your mercy,
In the blessed rest of everlasting peace,
And in the glorious company of the saints in light.

Lord God, please comfort those she left on this earth. Ease the pain and sorrow of their grief. May they be reassured that their loved one is in Your loving embrace where disease and pain can no longer touch her. AMEN.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
 
So emotional at the moment finding life difficuly, doubting everything. Love and miss you so much. Watch over your mother, she is lost without her first child, her star :bighanky:
