She’s a lonnngggggg story, but suffice to say, as a single mother in Germany, with a bad leg and employment that keeps falling through, she has a hard life. She’s made bad decisions in her life, and she isn’t the most religious person I know. She really needs our prayers to get back on her feet (literally and figuratively) again. Please keep A, her son A.J., and her ex S in you prayers. Thank you!

A PRAYER
IN TIME OF
SICKNESS OR TRIALS

O good Jesus,
I accept willingly this sickness [or trial]
which it has pleased You to lay upon me.
I confide all my pains to your Sacred Heart,
and beg You to unite them with Your bitter sufferings,
and thus perfect them by making them Your own.

Since I cannot render You the praise due to You
because of the multitude of my sorrows and afflictions,
I ask You to praise God the Father for all I suffer,
with the same tribute of praise You offered Him
when Your agony on the Cross was at its height.

As You thanked Him with all the powers of Your soul
for all the sufferings and injustice
which He willed You should endure,
so, I pray You,
give Him thanks for my trials also.
Offer my sufferings,
physical and spiritual,
to Him together with Your most holy pains
to His eternal honour and glory.
Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular A, her son A.J., and her ex S, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal A, her son A.J., and her ex S. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into A, her son A.J., and her ex S’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
