For my brother and his marriage

Dear Friends, please pray for my brother and for his marriage. He and his wife have been non-religious all these years, and their marriage is hanging on by a thread. But he just told me that in an effort to save it, they are going to start attending church together! They are going to the Methodist church near their home tomorrow. It’s a ways from Rome, but it’s a huge step in the right direction!

St. Monica, pray for them!

Praying that your brother and his wife, first and foremost, find the lord, and God willing, their way back to the church one day. =)

May God be present in all christian places of worship.
Father, we ask you now to heal this marriage. Bring them closer to you Lord. Give them understanding of your word so that they will learn to understand each other. Grant their home peace, love, hope, and faith. Comfort them in their time of suffering.

Lord, please draw Carrie’s brother and his wife near to You and that in becoming closer to You Lord, that this bring them closer together. They are obviously missing something in their marriage - I believe that missing part has been You. So please hold them closely and help guide them to a closer relationship with You and each other. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
 
Giving thanks for the “huge step in the right direction”…Deo Gratius!..and will be keeping your brother and his wife and their marriage in daily prayer…and that they will discover joyfully the Catholic Faith as they journey…
