Dear God,
help my brother Mark who is in the hospital because
of a sugar level so high it was unreadable.
help him regulate his illness so that it is not commonplace
to have to call medical responders to help him.
Lord you know our family’s heart grieves at how close to death he gets.
Jesus we trust in you.

Hi,

Just prayed for your brother. My two boys Andrew and Aaron also have type 1 diabetes. I know how frightening it can be and how you worry for them. Praying for God to lead Mark to take care of his diabetes and to give God the glory and trust in him!:o

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Mark). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Mark’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Hi IsaiahSpirit, my late wife also had
diabetes and her blood sugar level was
VERY high for about two years before
she died(from a seizure due to a fall).
I pray that your brother will agree to
watch his diet and weight so that his
blood sugar levels will be manageable.

I am so sorry to hear your brother, Mark is in the hospital. I pray that proper treatment and self care will bring his blood sugars to acceptable levels so emergent measures are an event of the past.

O my Jesus, you accepted Your suffering so that we might have eternal life. Give my hardship meaning and ease my fears as you turn my suffering into a source of joy. Your servant, St. Josemaría Escrivá, was cured after suffering with diabetes for ten years. He used his many obstacles and physical ailments as a passageway to holiness. Through his experiences you taught him that sorrow is the touchstone of love. Overcome my sorrow with Your enduring love and purify my body and soul. I ask this through the intercession of Mary.
