Greetings, dear ones 😀

Two guys that go to my church’s Bible study have cancer. One has lung cancer, the other one has prostate cancer. Please pray for both of them. May the Lord heal them.

God of Healing Mercy,
Through Jesus Your Son You stretch out
Your hand in compassion, restoring the sinner,
healing the sick, and lifting up those bowed
down. Embrace all people afflicted with cancer –
especially the men mentioned in Brent’s intention.

May You bring all those with cancer to health
in soul and body, that with joy and thanksgiving
they may praise You for Your goodness.

Through Christ Our Lord, Who lives and reigns
with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever
and ever. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Drac16’s Bible Study school mate). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Drac16’s Bible Study school mate’s friend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Drac16’s Bible Study school mate’s friend, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more.

You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness.

O dearest comforter of the troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.

Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servants to health again.
Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us.
