A friend of mine is having surgery next week. If you could just keep him and his family in your prayers, that’d be great. It’s not complicated, thank God-but it’s still his first surgery and he is really nervous. Thanks.
 
For your friend to pray:

Loving Father, I entrust myself to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around me. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

And for us to pray:

Lord Jesus,
help N (Rascalking’s friend). as he prepares for this operation.
In your love, guard and protect him.
Through the skills of the doctors
and the care of everyone else,
bring him back to health and full activity.

Lord Jesus,
we praise you for ever and ever. Amen.
 
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Lord, bring comfort to this friend who is having surgery next week. Help them have a strong sense of Your presence and guide the surgeon to do his best. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
