Asking again for prayers for my cat and me.

My beautiful cat, who suffers from renal failure (has for 3 years!) is suddenly very anemic. We’re waiting for blood to arrive from California for a transfusion. It should be here tomorrow.

Please pray that he makes it through the night so he can have the transfusion.

If it’s not meant to be, please pray that his passing be peaceful, pain-free, and by my side. I’m so worried that I’m going to go to work and that’s when he’ll go. I just want to be by his side when it happens.

And, I know some of you are thinking, "he’s just a cat, " and I get it, but he’s also my only real family, the only unconditional love I’ve ever known, and my companion for 17 years. He deserves a good death. Thank you for your prayers.

steward of her dear cat. If it is Your will, please restore her cat to health and
strength. I pray, too, for other animals in need. May they be treated with the
care and respect deserving of all Your creation. Blessed are You, Lord God,

I understand how dear your kitty is to your heart. I have always had kitties in my life, too. They have always been important in my life, and have always been dearly loved, too.

He’s 17.
He’s the love of my life.
He’s had a good life and has been with me through some very trying times. He has saved my life at least twice. Twice, when I considered suicide, he was the reason I stayed alive when all I wanted to do was die. He is my reason to live. He will forever have my heart.

I love my kitty, and he is my best friend. I understand that bond and I feel for you in your situation. Praying to saint Francis and the angels for you and your feline family member.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into lily71’s cat’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

What a beautiful cat…I don’t think anyone here would criticize you for worrying about your pet. God in His mercy gives them to us for companionship and comfort. May He bless your pet and heal Him if that is His will. St. Francis, we ask you to pray for lily71 and her cat and be with them in their time of need. Amen.
