Please pray that I find god again. I lately have stopped going to mass and feel no real passion for religion. I feel like my life is meaningless again without God but something is causing me not believe. Without God in my life i have reverted back to my old ways and habits that are not good or virtouous. Please pray for me.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. I will pray (I am praying!) for you! Remember that we’re under attack, man. The darn devil uses every trick in the book. I’m not sure if it’s like that for everyone, but my faith journey is like a roller coaster ride. And if you’re anything like me, huge ups, but then huge downs. One thing I can say is to recognize it’s a battle and keep fighting the good fight.

My up and down journey has been born a Catholic, didn’t know my faith, easily swayed by a non-Catholic, super close to leaving the Catholic faith, started studying, now I’m a devout Catholic. A Jesus Catholic Church Freak!! Haha! But, doubts still spring up. It’s the nature of the devil as he tries to have us focus on our weaknesses, our faults, our sins…forgetting that the war has already been won!! Even the great Apostle Paul struggled with sin so who are we to think we wouldn’t too!

Here’s something crazy and incredibly frustrating for me…when I go to confession it seems like I basically confess the same darn sins every time!! Here I am a self professed devout Catholic who knows what sin is and I KNOWINGLY commit the same sins! It causes me to doubt my faith, myself…how can I be a true believer and have these things happen? But, I keep battling and my good moments are starting to outnumber my bad ones. And what I will tell you is that as you get closer to Jesus the harder the devil fights. Keep praying, keep studying, keep resisting temptation, keep doing charitable things no matter how small, keep going to Mass…keep fighting!! And don’t do it alone. Reach out to your pastor, a Catholic friend, join groups at your church…involve others in the battle.

I’ll share one last thing that has happened to me the closer I’ve gotten to Jesus. I see my flaws and sins much more clearly. That bothered me a lot at first, but then I started to change my thinking to, “how cool is that!?”. The reason my flaws and sins are clearer now is because they are in 100% contrast to Jesus and I see them more clearly because of my closeness with The Lord! Yes, I’m a downright awful sinner, but that’s OK because I know that Jesus has already won the war and I’m just called to fight the battles. And fight I will!! And fight you will!!

You got me fired up, TrinitySaves! And I pray that you get fired up for Our Lord and Savior and His Church!!

Praying for your intentions and for Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future for it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord. . . . 😉 🙂
