For my dad and that I’ll be forgiven

My dad doesn’t have long to live. It takes some time to travel to him and he went into hospital two days ago. He has MND and is Drifting in and out of consciousness. I went up today and sat with him holding his hand but I only managed an hour before I couldn’t handle it and came out. I’m going again tomorrow and brother is there now but I just feel so guilty for leaving him for those few hours . I didn’t go till he was settled and going to sleep (as far as I could judge) but I feel awful . Only lost my mother eight months ago and I just felt it was all I could manage. Gave him a kiss and said I love you I’ll leave you with God before I went. Please pray for us

Mother Mary please pray for our dear halogirl who so recently lost her mother and now has to see her Dad slipping away.

Jesus please give her the strength and courage she needs now, but please don’t let her feel guilty when her heart is so full of recent and present grief.

Bless her dear Lord, and her family.
Hold each Otha them gently in Your Heart.

your devoted spouse Joseph and your Son Jesus as they died.
Through your prayers, help halo to do the best she can during
this difficult time. May she forgive herself and know that you

Will pray for you today. It is an emotionally painful and draining time.
 
Stayed 4 and a half hours until brother arrived and said a couple of divine mercy chaplets. Felt a lot more peaceful today. Your prayers no doubt helped me with this 🙂

Thank you ! I played him a track of music he liked today and a chaplain came around - just so happened to be a priest ! So that was great he spent some time talking with me and blessed my dad.
