Watch, O Lord,
with those who wake,
or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels
and saints charge over
those who sleep.

Tend Your sick ones,
O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones,
and all for Your loves sake.

Thanks guys. He is still hanging on. A priest gave him a blessing yesterday and he’s been told he can let go but doesn’t seem ready yet. Day five without fluids now ;(
 
Guys it was Friday we told the doctors to stop treatment including no fluids and no liquid food . Dad had a DNR order is this ethical to do? We went with what he thought his wishes were. He has mnd and ended up in hospital with pneumonia ? Like we are not sinning are we? I am worried this is a form of assisted dying 😦
