For my Dad Battling COPD

Please pray for my Dad, Guy, who is in the hospital battling pneumonia.
He has COPD, which is progressive and incurable, and he is at the stage where he is susceptible to frequent cases of pneumonia.
 
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Guy). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Guy’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Holy God please bless Guy with Your mercy as he copes the pneumonia in complication of this distressing illness.
Please ease his discomfort and bless him with all the graces and assistance he needs.
Please support his family in their struggle in seeing Guy suffering.
Please hear and answer their loving prayers for him.
 
Thank you all for your prayers. Unfortunately, after a CT scan of my father’s lungs, they found a large mass and it has metastasized.
The options are aggressive treatment (chemo) which the doctor thinks my 87-year old father can not endure, or home care and comfort until the cancer takes him.
Please keep sending prayers.
 
Healing Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua

Dear St. Anthony,
You recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine
Healer. Great Wonder Worker, in your kindness,
please intercede @Jersey_Jeepster’s father,
who has metastatic lung cancer, pneumonia,
and COPD.

Holy St. Anthony, beseech God to heal him.
If it is not His will, pray that God will soothe
his pain; calm his anxiety; comfort him; and
grant him a peaceful death and a home in
eternal glory. Pray also that God will grant
his family strength in this difficult time. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.

St. Anthony, helper in all necessities, pray for us.
 
Father please may the holy ghost heal this man and allow him to live a great life and help spread the good news of your word. Cure this man as you are the only one that can work miracles. In your name, Jesus amen!
