Father God we thank you for protecting Rachel and that she is getting stronger. Abba Father, life is so fragile and very precious. Especially precious are the parental bonds which tie father and mother to their sons and daughters. Lord I thank You for bringing Pete’s family through this. May their moments be ever more greatly treasured with Rachel by their coming through all these crisis together and relying on You. When they worship You Father may it be a moving and blessed experience, knowing You are the God who answers and the God who loves. May this family’s time together be blessed in You, in Jesus Name I pray.

Father God I join with these and the many others praying for this young girl and ask that Your protection be upon Rachel, Pete and his wife. May Your presence be ever nearer to her and to Pete’s entire family Lord. May the light of Your grace surround them and may the comfort of Your Holy Spirit be with them all. Like a whirlwind so much has happened, may they all rest in You Lord. Father in Heaven we desire to honor Your Name and thank You for Your love and guidence through all the storms of this temporal life. We just lift up this whole family up to You. Keep each of them and us free from everything that would turn our hearts from Your Truth, until we are all, at last, one day home in Your Kingdom where Your Life and Love shines forever upon us. We ask Your help Heavenly Father in the Name of Your Son, who taught us to pray, and who Lives and reigns in Glory with You forever and ever. Amen

Jesus did not say Amen in this prayer but went down to the Kidron valley and Gethsemane. I believe this is still an active prayer to all the generations who will believe through the gospel handed down to us.
