A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.
 
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.

As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
 
They are going to keep the wound open and draining until the infection is totally cleaned up. They are also putting beads similar to rosary beads impregnated with antibiotics in the wound to clear it up. Maybe sometime next week she can come home.
 
Lord Jesus please aid the success of the medical treatment and grant healing to Rachel. Please ensure that this long ordeal is last over this week.

I hope so, Pete. Your family has a heavy cross to bear, no question about that! I continue to pray for God’s will in all of your lives. Peace be with you.
 
Pete,you Rachel and all your family are in my prayers.
Dear Lord please grant complete healing ro Rachel.May the doctors
treating her have the ability necessary to bring her recovery.
Please comfort Pete and his wife during this worrying time
in their lives.Amen

Rachels back home. She is hooked up to a wound vac that continuously drains the wound. We have to administer IV antibiotics every 8 hours. This makes me nervous.
 
Dear Lord we thankyou that Rachel is home.Please continue to heal her until she is
fully recovered.Please grant Pete and his wife strength and courage to face the
challenges of the wound vac as they become more familiar with things.Lord we
are so grateful that You answer our prayers.Amen
