For my daughter Rachel (third surgery in a week)

Thank God Rachel seems to be doing OK, but we’ve been at this point before only to have a setback so please keep the prayers coming and hopefully we can bring her home this weekend.

I am sorry for your agonizing wait during surgery! Many people are praying for your family. I hope that your prayers are answered as soon as possible!

Hi Pete, I thank the Lord that she came through okay. That’s awful that they kept you waiting without telling you and your wife what was going on. Somebody dropped the ball on that one. My family and I will keep trusting God for her deliverance Pete. We continue to pray that she will regain full health and return home to you soon. I can only imagine how hard it has been on all of you. May God lend you His strength that your faith will remain strong for both Rachel and your wife.

I just got home. Rachel had some tests today. They didn’t find any leaks in her bladder and her shunt seems to be working fine. Hopefully, she’ll get to come home Saturday. Again , THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS.

That is great news Pete! We will continue to pray for her even after she returns home to you.
Father, we thank you for this good news, for Your protection over Rachel and Your strength for Pete and his wife that gave them hope throughout this. Father, we ask for that joyous return home to her family. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Please bless her as she continues to heal.
 
The IVs are out, Her catheters were changed, and the orders are written. It looks like she’s coming home tomorrow. :gopray2:
