I told my wife tonight that I will be starting RCIA Tuesday night. She is upset but didn’t get angry with me or threaten to leave me this time. It wasn’t pleasant when I told her how I feel about the LDS church. Please pray that both her and I are led to the truth, that our hearts be softened, and that my family remain together. (13.5 years now)

Thank you

Lord, please send many graces and angelic help to this family, that no sin of the tongue or heart penetrate their loving bond. See that they always prioritize peace and love. Instill in them graces for faith, hope, love, humility, courage, and joy, that they might together journey successfully to the eternal garden. Send angels to protect them and help with this cause. Scatter any gathering enemies from fulfilling this petition of love and shine a foretaste of heavenly light to this whole family always. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Praying for you and your wife that you may together work through this new change in your life and that you may be led to the church. May God bless you both abundantly with hearts willing to learn and grow together and stay together.

Mary.

Thank you O God for leading Stevenrushing home
to the Roman Catholic faith, and that his wife did
acquiesce to him attending the RCIA. Continue
to work on his wife’s life, so that they will come
home TOGETHER, in Jesus’ name!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need. Praying for you, your family & your marriage.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

  • O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*

Prayer to the Shoulder Wound of Jesus

'“O Loving Jesus, Meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy Flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy Most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross, to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen.”
  • composed by St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to our family. May our home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg you, dear Jesus, to rpotect and bless all of us, absent and present, living and dead.

O Mary,

Loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,

holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which he granted to you, to watch over our home at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so that with Mary and with you, Heaven may find our family unbroken in the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Amen.
