For you-

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

My father has had all his major surgery, and is recovering from a skin graft to his face in the trauma unit of the hospital. He’s in one of those full-body immobilizer thingies to prevent damage to his spinal cord while he heals. It sounds like he’ll be moved back to our local hospital soon.

As for me, my boss hired a temp to cover my classes starting on Wednesday - I’ll have to train her on Tuesday before I leave. That’ll give me time to sort out my affairs here before I leave.

Thank you for the prayers. They really mean a lot to me, and to him I’m sure.

Thanks for the continued prayers. My father’s health is looking up, but we still don’t know how long it will take for his recovery. He was supposed to be released from hospital on Thursday, but now that isn’t happening - maybe Monday. The hospital is holding him longer because they’re afraid he has an infection.

Several other bad things have happened to our family this week - the other car broke down, the septic tank overflowed, the dog is sick and may have a fatal heart condition, my boyfriend dislocated his shoulder in a car accident in the Philippines, and he still doesn’t have a visa to visit Canada yet. We sure could use lots of prayers. Thanks.

Father, in Jesus’ name, please flood Your compassion on this family in all things.

I’m just leaving for Monday morning Mass and will pray for your Dad and you all.
