For my father

My dad was just forced to sell the family farm. His brother abandoned him, moving to a different province (we don’t know why) and selling most of the equipment. We don’t have the money to buy more equipment so my dad had to sell the land. He is feeling really depressed and shocked. I would appreciate any and all prayers that people have to offer. Thank you :gopray:

Edited to add: Everyone in my family hates each other. Please pray for us 😦

Lord, please bring your love and peace to this family. Help everyone to understand and respect each other with mutual love and good wishes. Please help the poor man who had to sell his land to get over the shock of this and help him to pick up the pieces. Please help get this family to the sacraments so they can get the strength and nourishment they need to love you and their neighbor with all their hearts. Bless this family and help them to love and to forgive each other and to be a true family for each other. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

God be with you and your father Kamaan! I’m so sorry he and you have to go through the hurt and anguish of this awful situation - as well as the bitter feelings in the family. It is a rancid taste in the mouth when family turns on each other.

Thank God your dad has you and you have him. Keep holding each other up and praying and we will lift you up in prayer as well. When all have abandoned us, the Lord is Faithful and True! Jesus, we trust in You!

I am so sorry for this loss. I will pray for your father and your family. Hate is not from God, ever. I will ask for the intercession of St.Michael. Hold onto your faith. God has promised never to abandon us. He is faithful even when others are not. (yes, even and most especially in families) My prayers,

Thanks again everyone… my dad seems to be feeling better. He is planning on getting more involved with our parish now, so that is good.

Im so sorry kamaan about the farm and your family.You are in my prayers.

Lord please surround this family with Your love and comfort.The stress of every day life is causing hurt and betrayal upon this family.Brother against brother the family being forced to sell the farm.They are hurting Lord and I ask You would embrace them in Your love and send Your Holy Spirit upon each of them that they would be able to resolve this family situation.Lord in Your mercy please hear our prayers for this family Amen

Saint Joseph, guardian of Jesus
and chaste husband of Mary,
you passed your life in loving fulfillment of duty.
You supported the holy family of Nazareth
with the work of your hands.
Kindly protect those who trustingly come to you.
You know their aspirations,
their hardships, their hopes.
They look to you because they know
you will understand and protect them.
You too knew trial,
labour and weariness.
But amid the worries of material life,
your soul was full of deep peace
and sang out in true joy
through intimacy with God’s Son entrusted to you

Assure those you protect that they do not labour alone.
