Lord, please grant this father many graces to persist through any difficulties in this fallen, temporal realm. Cultivate ever in his heart graces for faith, hope, love, joy, courage, and perseverance. Send angels to help him always. Lead him ever toward the eternal garden of joy along with his whole family and those who journey with him. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
 
Glorious St. Gemma, your strong love for God enabled you to endure many physical and mental hardships while on earth. You were always ready to offer your suffering for the well-being and salvation of others. I graciously come to you now, O compassionate St. Gemma, and ask you to hear our prayer for healing. Intervene for us with the Divine Father, so that if it is His will, the ailment may be cured. Amen.
