He will be going today to the doctor for some results on some tests he had last week. They are suspecting Alzheimer’s. Please pray that this disease is able to be controlled. 😦
He is 65 yrs old, I believe.

Father, your son accepted our sufferings to teach us virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for this man. We ask You to grant special grace on all who suffer from Alzheimers and their family members.

Heavenly Father, Thank YOU!
My MIL called us and told us that the dr said it’s NOT Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or tumors in his brain. The dr said that it could be due to him not getting enough oxygen to his brain. My FIL will have a sleep study done. He’ll have to spend the night at the sleep lab to see whether he stops breathing while he is asleep. The dr said that sometimes that happens and some patients have similiar symtoms.
We were terrified that it was Alzheimer’s because it does run in his family. We’re grateful that it’s not. Thanks for all your prayers. 🙂

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Giving thanks your FIL does not sufffer with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s nor a tumour…praying that he will be restored to good health…Deo Gratius!
