He’s been talking a lot about wanting to die. He’s refusing any and all of my attempts at reaching out to see if I can help.
I’m extremely worried. If you could just keep him in your thoughts I’d appreciate it. He really needs it.

who seek to end their lives
by their own hands.
The despair is too great,
the loneliness is unbearable,
the inability to share thoughts
and feelings overwhelming,
the seeming lack of options a dead end.
Bless them with the strength of love
to meet each day with new courage;
friendships to bring moments of joy
in their days of anguish;
and hope for the future.

My Lord, if they may be walking through fields that are rough with grief and care, may they have the courage to continue on to the smooth pastures, where they may walk with comfort and peace. May they not let the weariness and sorrow that may come to their heart today dwindle hope and enjoyment of the future.
