Damien had a heart transplant at age 6 months. He is now 4 and has been in the hospital in Washington D. C. for 31 days now. The problem isn’t his heart. He has had two different viruses that have left him unable to hold food down long enough to gain weight and get his strength back. He weights about 28 pounds. Please pray that the doctors will find the right combination that will get this little boy back on his feet and let him and his mommy go home. Mommy is also a heart patient and Daddy a Marine and can not always be there to help.:gopray2:

Lord, please touch Damien with your divine, healing hand, that he might be quickly brought to strength and good health. Always keep him spiritually and physically healthy. Draw this boy through this matter toward a long life as a great witness to your holy love and power. Comfort him and his parents with many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy always. Spare this family any further discouragements and darkness. Give them a foretaste of heaven’s light that they might never lose hope. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Will keep your precious grandson Damien in my prayers.

Dear Blessed Mother, Wrap your loving arms around Damien and intercede for him that all be well.

Mary, full of grace, spiritual mother to those in need, I fervently request your heavenly intercession for Damien, to place him under your mantle, this child who is ill and seeks God’s miraculous assistance. You truly care for the sick and offer them your compassionate support in powerful acts of healing.
Blessed Mother, stay near to Damien with your maternal protection. Console his grandmothers anxious heart, as well the families.
In Jesus name, Amen.

God of love, ever caring, ever strong,
stand by us in our time of need.
Watch over this child , Damien, who is sick;
look after him in every danger,
and grant him your healing and peace.
We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Damien. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Damien’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
