for my heart

I went for my pacemaker check today and it shows I am in atrial fib 82% of the time. With all my other heart issues this is not a good sign. Apparently the meds that were keeping most of the A-fib at bay are no long very effective.
Please pray my heart returns to normal rhythm.

Lord your child rayne89 needs you to get his heart to be in rythm and let it be back in normal order . Lord touch him and make him be healed . From the moment that unnamed centurion thrust his spear into Your side, wounding that most sacred heart, You gave those of us with cardiac problems a way to come to know You through our suffering. Lord, if it be your will, we beseech thee to give Rayne a steady rhythm, that he may serve You better. Lord, we know we are not worthy to receive You, but just say the word and Your servant shall be healed.

I have a brother-in-law who has a pacemaker (he’s 42) and sounds like he has the same/similar condition as you. He is doing very well right now. I will pray that your heart comes out of A-fib as soon as possible. Lord Jesus, I ask that you grant total healing of your son, rayne. Please, Lord, have mercy on him and give him peace of mind. In Your Most Holy Name, I pray. Amen.

I will keep your brother-in-law in prayers for continued good health.So glad to hear he is doing well.🙂

What I have is actually very rare -my major condition is called Congenitally Corrected Transpostion. Complicated to explain here’s a link if anyone is interested.

The median age of death for those with this condition is 40 and I am 36, so any further decline in my heart health definitely causes me (and hubby) anxiety.
I also have what’s called Epstein’s Anomaly & complete heart block. The heart block was a complication of my open heart surgery that I had when I was 8 years old which is when I received my first pacemaker.
I have been having minor episodes of atrial-fib which kept me on blood thinners but wasn’t a major concern but such continous atrial fib is too much strain for my already weak heart. My daughter is 12 and I have been hoping and praying to be able to make it until she reached adulthood before needing a transplant.

I have a cardiology appt next month so I’ll find out if anything further is recommended to correct the a-fib.
