Thanks to all who have been praying for our needs. We ask for continued prayers!

Please continue to keep my husband in your prayers. Not being able to find work is really getting him down and he’s so stressed each month as we await if we will have enough to cover the bills.

**Please pray that this stress does not make him ill, and take long term effects on his health and body (he is still quite young!) Please pray that he does not loose faith or hope in the midst of it all. Please pray that I can be the wife he needs me to be and offer him the unconditional love and support he is in need of. Please pray for him to find this much needed job quickly! **

One small prayer on the way.

FWIW: I have been out of work a few times in durations from 4 to 11 months, and it is never easy.

To do work around the house to stay busy often takes the money you don’t have to spend on the projects, and to sit too idle for too long makes it easier to find distractions that are not always healthy either.

One thing I did was to drive my wife to and from her job each day. I often packed a lunch and shared it with her most days as well. It gave me a reason to get up, stay up and get out of the house when little else did. She enjoyed having a chauffeur for almost a year as well, and we both enjoyed our daily lunches together.

I also sent out at least one resume almost every day- even if it was to someone or a job I had no experience or interest in. In about an 8 month period I sent out over 300 responses to ads and resumes. Guess how many call backs I received? NONE. Guess how many rejection letters I got back? ONE. (I almost had it framed I was so happy to get somethign at all),

I’m praying for you both! I have a similar problem with the finances and my not being able to find a job. I can relate to you on this one. I’ll pray for you during my rosary tonight!
 
Dear Convert…Keeping all your intentions in prayer with Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Joseph…and with the Infant of Prague for work too and finances…May The Holy Spirit strengthen and console you both during this hard time …

Father, we know You have a plan for Convert and her husband, especially for his employment, please guide them towards the door which You will open that no man can close. Amen.
