Hi everyone,

I would appreciate it so much if you could please pray for my husband/our marriage. My husband is not Catholic, but neither was I when we married. God has called me home, and I am ready to answer it, but my husband is not interested in spiritual matters at all.

I pray every day for my husband’s soul, and I am asking others to do so too, if they’re willing. Also, if you could please pray for him to get help with his anger problem, I would appreciate that very much. I want to stress that he is never violent with us, but he does lose his temper over the tiniest things, and it is very, very difficult for everyone in the family to deal with. He has a tendency to threaten divorce whenever he is angry with me, which is often.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give your husband guidance & direction to the Church.
 
Offer your sufferings up to God for him!

Your suffering may be crucial for his conversion.

Also, pray to the Blessed Mother for her loving hand and assistance. Pray to Saint Monica, mother of Saint Augustine as well!
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

I pray the Holy Spirit will open your husband’s heart to the Catholic Faith. I also pray that he will come to see he has an anger problem that is affecting his family and threatening divorce when angry is not a good way to help solve problems in a marriage and finds some help for these issues.

Just for a little inspiration read the story of St. Monica, I do regularly and it helps. I will pray for your intention.

Lord, sometimes change looks impossible, but we know everything is possible for you. We call on you to open the heart of our friend’s husband. Stir up his interest in You and help him realize that he doesn’t need to live with the hurt he has, nor does he need to continue to dish out big bowls of hurt to others close to him. Heal his wounds and please heal the wounds he has caused. Lord thank you for your love and for your understand of all. We pray to you in your name, Our Father, and your son, Jesus and your Holy Spirit. Amen
