For the safety of the residents and workers at my local women’s shelter. They assist women who are victims of domestic violence. As such, I am sure that they would covet our prayers for their safety and well-being. God, please assist the workers in the jobs that they do and let the shelter be a safe harbor where these women and their children can heal from their traumatic experiences.

Prayers for your local woman’s shelter.

God Bless you for thinking of these people in crisis.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother;
to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen*

Sincerest Prayers:
Our Father who art in heaven…
Hail Mary, full of grace… Hail Mary, full of grace… Hail Mary, full of grace…
Glory Be to the Father…
Amen…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. BONIFACE

Merciful God, Who hast shown compassion to so many heathen nations, through Thy faithful servant St. Boniface: we humbly pray Thee to revive and preserve that faith which he preached in Thy Holy Name, that we may receive Thy revelations with a faithful heart, and so regulate our lives as to gain the Heavenly Kingdom. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

Preserve and increase, we beseech Thee, O God, the faith of Thy children, and lead back to the true fold all those who have been separated or have separated themselves from it. Through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Dear Jesus, you were always merciful to women who were in bad situations. Please help, guide, strengthen and protect the women who seek help at this shelter, and the staff and volunteers who help them. Please help them to reach a better situation and to have peace and happiness. In Jesus’ Name I humbly ask this. I have confidence that you will shine your light of goodness and mercy on this shelter and bless it. Thank you. Amen.

Dear Blessed Mother, you know from personal experience the joys and sorrows of life as a woman. Please protect all who stay at, work at, or are involved with this shelter under your mantle. Please bless them and strengthen them with graces for the helpers to help the women and the women to help themselves. I ask this with confidence through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank you. Amen.

Praying for the residents and staff of this shelter. May they seek You in their circumstances.

PRAYER TO ST. MARCELLIN CHAMPAGANT

St. Marcellin Champagant, you felt a personal call by God to found a religious community of Brothers that would bring the message of Jesus’ love to neglected young people. Your memories of the school teacher who beat the students, and your own recollections of academic struggles were the basis of your educational philosophy: “to educate children you must love them and love them all equally.” You started the Marist brothers after discerning God’s will for your life. Your love of Jesus and Mary should inspire us to give all of ourselves to them as you did.

St. Marcellin, I lift up to you today the intentions of all those who have asked for prayers on this forum. On this your feast day into eternal life, may you take these intentions into your heart and present them to Jesus and Mary with your noted fervor and charity. May we also strive to follow God’s will in our own lives and thus know the inner peace and contentment that comes to those who seek the Kingdom above all things. We ask this in Jesus’s Name. Amen.

St. Marcellin Champagant, pray for us!

Prayer for Domestic Violence Victims

Gracious God, whose Son wept over the city
of Jerusalem; fill our hearts with compassion
for those women and children who suffer violence
and exploitation at the hands of the wicked.
Guide us in vigilance so that we may recognize
those who need our assistance. Direct our
hearts that we might untie the burdens placed
upon them and bring them to freedom and safety.
We ask this through the intercession of Our Lady
of Lourdes and in the name of your Son,
Jesus and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

PRAYER TO BL. ANNE OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW

Blessed Anne, you were blessed with extraordinary visions at a young age, which eventually led you into a vocation to the religious life. You accompanied St. Teresa of Avila as she established new Carmelite contents and were a comfort and help to her. As prioress of these converts, you followed God’s will and were a leader and example to the nuns under your care. Today on this your feast day, I humbly ask for your prayers and intercession for all those who post in this forum. May we follow God’s will for us as you did, and have the courage and strength of purpose to carry our crosses so that we be blessed with the vision of our Lord in heaven for all eternity. We ask these prayers through your intercession and in the Name of Jesus, who is Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. PRAYER TO ST. WILLIAM OF YORK

St. William of York, you were so patient in adversity. Through the long years when your bishopric was in question, you endured this trial with resignation and grace. You were content to follow God’s will and to wait for His will on His own terms and in His own time. On this your feast day, I ask you to pray for me and for all those who post in the forum, that we may persevere in the path to holiness as you did. Please ask God to grant blessings on all those here who have asked for prayer, if these intentions are according to His will for them. If not, please pray that they may be at peace with His answer and discern the more perfect way. We ask this together with you through Christ our Lord. Amen.
