My wife and I have been separated now for 2 years, and have been married now for 8 years. In the 6 years that we were together we practiced NFP and have 2 beautiful daughters. I recently found out that she ( my wife) has been prescribed a birth control pill. I can’t believe this of her, I can’t believe that someone that was so pro-life has started using “the pill”. I am hoping that it is because of medical reasons and not because of an adultering lifestyle. I don’t want to think of my wife, who was ever faithful, to be open to commit adultery.
Please pray for my wife and I, pray that the light of Christ may come and abolish the darkness we find ourselves in. Pray for our marriage and perhaps for strength on both our parts for what is to come.

Heavenly Father, please help Peter46 and his wife with this issue.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Everywhere I look people’s marriages are in trouble. I will pray for your marriage. I really hope and pray that you both can work this out and come to live together soon. I know it has to be very hard. My dh and I are watching dear friends who have separated again, second time, recently. The wife took the kids and left and the husband doesn’t know what to think. It is sad, but many marriages are attacked by Satan. I will keep your marriage and all marriages in my nightly Rosary.
