Please keep them in your prayers. They are having some relationship problems right now. My mom has been ill, it has taken a toll on them, and I guess he has some other issues and concerns as well, such as money, and the relationship in general.

She is a wreck. And at the same time she is trying to quit smoking, is taking Chantix (which makes her depression worse), and this makes her very nasty to be around.

And - on top of it - they are athiests. I can’t tell her to pray, she doesn’t have anything to pray TO. I can’t tell her to have hope, where do you get home from when you don’t believe in anything? I didn’t really know what to say to her, other than, “hang in there” and “let me know how things are going” - she’s in another state.

So anyway - please keep them in your prayers.

As my husband just said: And this, boys and girls, is why we all want to be in a sacramental marriage.

Praying for you all :signofcross: :highprayer: :console:
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
Amen

They have my prayers, dear, and so do you - you’re a good daughter, and this must be so difficult for you!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen!
:signofcross:

Thank you so much for your generous prayers. I’m sure the tendancy here is to not even bother praying for someone who is not living in a sacramental marriage, or one who doesn’t even believe in anything, but I still hold out hope for my mother’s conversion one day, so every prayer counts. If for nothing else, to help her wounded heart.

Thank you,

~Liza

I have said a prayer for them. All are worthy of God’s love, and our prayers.

Matter of fact I said a quick prayer for you too, just because 🙂

God Bless,
SpokBBane

:signofcross:Will be keeping your Mom and Stepdad in my daily intentions…

Father, bring peace into this family. Heal the wounds that are causing difficulties in their marriage. Bring belief into their lives that they may know Your love and the peace belief will bring to their lives. Mother Mary, take this family before your Beloved Son, place them in His loving arms that they may begin to believe!

I will pray for you and your intentions in my rosary tonight.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

But those are the things that need our prayers most! 🙂

Said a prayer for them, and for the Holy Spirit to give you the right words to say to them.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you. Save souls.

Praying for them right now. I am praying for you also, Liza. Oh yeah, and tell your husband AMEN to his comment about marriage.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and in the hour of our death. Amen.
