For my mom's employer

My mom has been working for this guy for almost twenty years. Today in a call, she found out that his ex-wife’s current boyfriend threatened his life if he doesn’t give his ex-wife more money. Now, this boyfriend is involved in organized crime, carries a gun everywhere and the ex-husband is a wealthy man and already gives his ex a lot of money. The threat is very real and I overheard my mom crying over the phone today. This family has already all sorts of problems and, if the patriarch dies, his five kids will lose their only sane parent and they would be screwed. Their mother is extremely unpredictable and probably has some untreated mental condition. So pray for the man and his family, that they may be safe.

and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen
