For my mom's total recovery from Cancer

Hi everyone!

We are now at 5 months after my mom’s whole brain radiation and 6 months from her brain surgery. Please help us continue pray for her recovery. Emotionally and psychologically - she is coping very well, she is a very resilient and positive person. She just finished her steroid therapy last week to prevent brain swelling brought by the trauma from radiation and surgery. Please help us continue pray that the swelling will no longer come back. Too much cerebral swelling is dangerous. While the side effects of the steroids are too tough (and my mom wanted to be off of it so bad), it was the better option to prevent complications and now that she’s just finished it we are hoping and praying that her body just simply copes and heals naturally. We are meeting her oncologist this Friday for a follow up appointment after her recent scan. I am very anxious but praying very hard for positive news. Please include her in your prayers, her name is Marrieta. Through the intercession of Mother Mary, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, and St. Peregrine, may Jesus grant her complete healing and recovery from this illness.

Heavenly Father,I lift up all cancer patients to you. Please be with them and give them comfort and peace during this battle. They need Your care and attention. Please be with them in this journey and where it’s Your will, bring about healing to their bodies. Please be with their families as well as they join their loved ones on this journey.

I pray for all of the cancer patients who are awaiting test results. Please give them comfort and strength as they await the results. I lift up all of other patients who are having procedures. I pray for Your hand over all of their care and that you will be with the doctors and health professionals whom they are working with. Also, please be with all of their families at this time.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Marrieta). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Marrietas body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Marrieta, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Just got home from Mass and even though my mom is having trouble with her balance, she was still able to walk though slowly and take Communion 🙂 I know Jesus sees her love for the Holy Mass and His precious Body and Blood.
