For my mother who broke her back

She fell backwards and broke her back. I’m thankful there was no injury to the brain or paralysis, but if you can, please pray for her speedy recovery (she also has osteoporosis and it’ll take longer than normal). I’m grateful there are people around her to take her to the hospital, as I live across the country.

Thank you everyone so much for your prayers!!

I know my prayers alone cannot merit much, but I know there are people here who can merit what I cannot.

She got minor surgery (something like adding cement-like material to the backbone to seal fracture) and is now home.

She’s no longer able to work and recovery will take a few months, but perhaps this was allowed by God for a greater good at the end.

My greater concern is the conversion and salvation of my parents and family members (who still remain Protestants). Lord have mercy…
