I was originally going to post this closer to mother’s day, but in today’s readings for the 33 Day Marian Consecration includes: “For is you will forgive men their offences, your heavenly Father will forgive you also you offences.” So I’ve decided to post this now, for my Total Consecration to Mary.

I haven’t had a good relation with my mother and it led to a lot of issues in my life. In fact the reason I now have such a close relationship to Our Lady, is because I needed her motherly love to heal my wounds. I still haven’t healed completely, but I’m much better now than I was in the past. I would like prayers that Our Lady and her God may complete what is lacking in my forgiveness of my mother, and that I pray for and desire her conversion.

Pray me O my Queen and Mother, who are both strong and brave, and also merciful and forgiving!
Saint Monica, pray for me!

Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.
