For my murdered friend

Please keep my classmate Chelsea in your prayers, she was recently abducted while on a run then raped murdered and thrown under a thicket of brush. She was a wonderful person who made all the right decsions and hung out with all the right people, she lived a very hardworking and well aimed life, and deserves to be accepted into the eternal kingdom. Please also remeber her family and friends who have to live on with her memory.

May Chelsea rest in God’s loving arms. And may you and all who loved her so … find comfort as God holds you (all) in the palm of his hand.

Dear merciful and loving Lord, please welcome Chelsea into your Eternal Kingdom of Paradise with a loving embrace, and offer comfort to those that grieve at her loss. Amen.
 
Words cannot express our thoughts and feelings about the loss of the life of your friend.

Here, we believe that each person is made in the image and likeness of God, and the crime of murder always cries out in injustice.

To me, murder is the greatest expression of idolatry.
 
I pray that she may be granted eternal rest, and that her relatives and friends may find consolation.

I live in La Mesa and all of San Diego County feels your pain and loss and we will remember Chelsea as everyone’s friend and daughter. Her parents have shown strength that comes right from heaven during this horrible and sad time. They would like it if you and the rest of her friends keep in touch, in the years to come; your joys and milestones will bring back the good times they had with their daughter. We thank God for the time he gave us with Chelsea and ask for justice for the man that killed her.

Prayers for your friend Chelsea, that she has gone to rest in hopes of rising again…and for her family, and other friends like you–that God will give you the strength to carry on without her. She sounds like she was a wonderful human being…how terrible! 😦
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
 
Lord, to You time is no barrier. I implore You to go to her in the ordeal she faced in her last hours. Help her to experience Your love and peace even in the midst of this appalling violation of her freedom and person-hood. Hold her mind to Your mind, her heart to Your heart, and let her see Your eyes, and be conscious only of the love in Your eyes.

Lord please comfort and heal her parents, family, and friends who have to live with the horror.
Please grant her prayers for them.

I am praying for Chelsea and for all of her family and friends. May the Lord grant them peace. And may the person who murdered her be brought to justice and repent.

i have been praying for this poor girl’s soul and for her family and friends. i also pray that the judge and prosecutor that let this predator out early change their ways.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for Chelsea’s family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
