For my new lil' bundle

After years of waiting and wanting, our newest daughter was born January 6th, she will be baptised this Saturday vigil Mass. dh and I have two requests for prayer:

1. That we will raise her strong in the faith and to love God first before everything else. Like any parents our goal is to see her in Heaven, prayers to help us do that are appreciated!

and

1. That she is and will be in good health free of neurological defects. She has a poor startle reflex and no grasp reflex and a defect with her big toe that is indicative of certain neurological problems. HOWEVER, it is possible that her reflexes are simply immature and that the “toe problem” (forgot the medical term for it) are just nothing. (Background: our first two have neurological problems that are not supposed to run in families and statistically should not make us more likely than anyone else to have a child with any disability but this still makes us very nervous.)

Please let this mother feel your presence and please help all the medical people around this child have good discernment, good judgment, and good treatments available to them.
