For my parents and I

Prayers would be much appreciated. I am about to graduate from university and struggling. My parents are emotionally/verbally abusive, so I cannot go home to that environment. I need therapy, but I don’t have a car or health insurance. I can’t get a car because my parents control my accounts. I applied for jobs, but have heard nothing back. The emotional stress has also caused psychological damage and moderately severe chronic health problems. I desperately need help and can’t go home after graduation. Pray that I find a therapist to help me recover, and so that I can be freed by getting my adult life started without my parents, and I don’t pass this on to my own children. I am becoming resentful of them and the control they have over my life. Please pray so that I may forgive them. My parents are miserable and dissatisfied with their own lives. May they see the error of their ways and be healed themselves of their hurt.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular TOBaddict, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
