Praying……
To O.L. of the Snows
Grant us, Lord, through the glorious
intercession of the always blessed
Virgin Mary under the title of the Snows,
that we may enjoy perpetual health of body and soul
and deign protect your devout faithful
from all effects from hurricanes, pests,
and drought, specially storms and lightning,
against which She keeps Her children
with singular protection. Through the
Infinite merits, of Your Divine Son our
Lord Jesus Christ, Who with You lives
and reigns with the Holy Spirit for ever
and ever. Amen.
*Feast Day of Our Lady of the Snows: August 5. *
This is my translation.
Original has the Imprimatur of Bp. Evelio
To Saint Michael the Archangel
St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
…be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray
…and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host,
…by the power of God,
…thrust into Hell Satan
…and all the other evil spirits
…who prowl about the world
… seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
The Memorare
Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petition,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.
**
Let Nothing Disturb You**
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience,
Obtains all things,
Whoever has God
Lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

**Road Ahead **
“My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think
……I am following your will does not mean that I am
……actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road,
……though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost
……and in the shadow of death. I will not fear,
……for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me
……to face my perils alone.”

Thanks to each and every person who has prayed for Kenny. God bless you.
Recently, I have already come back to classes*, finding out that he is still recovering from the assault, and has thus been unable to register in the new semester of study, a fact that implies that he might graduate even one year after the rest of us.
With that in mind, I resurrect this thread, asking you to pray for his full recovery, if it is in accordance with the Lord´s will that his health comes back to him.
Regards,
Steven.
*In case you are wondering, I am not from the U.S. (nor am I studying there), but from South America. That means (at least in my university and in schools) that classes normally begin in march.
