I am in middle school and I have a friend who wants to become Catholic. The only problem is that her parents are strong Baptist and won’t hear of it. She told me that she has been watching the dioceiean (spelling?) t.v. channel and has become convinced that Rome is the true church. She can’t go through RCIA until she turns 18, so please pray for her that she might not lose intrest in our church, and that when she turns 18 she enters RCIA. I am currently slipping her Catholic lituature at school to read. She gives them back at the end of school, so her parents don’t know anything. 😊 We both know it is wrong doing this behind her parent’s backs, but it’s the only way. She needs as many prayers as possiable though. Thanks so much from both of us!!! 😃

Father, guide these children in your infinite wisdom. You have touched their hearts, and called them to you, we are eternally grateful for your constant presence in our lives. May their faith in you remain eternally devoted to you Lord, as you are eternally devoted to your children. Stay near to them Lord, keeping them near and dear to your heart. Warm the hearts of this child’s family, Lord, that they too may turn their faith over to you, and unite in prayer as a family.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our Daily Bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

I think it is great that you are evangelizing at your age, when so many are more interested in the things of the world. It takes courage for I know I did not at your age out of shyness and not wanting to offend anyone. I will keep your friend in my prayers and you too so that you can continue to give her more advice and information on our Church. I will tell you this, I truly believe that if it be the will of God that your friend be Catholic, she will be a Catholic. If she has to wait, than she needs to be patient and accept it as God’s will for now. Who knows, you may be her sponsor one day when she enters our Church. Don’t be discouraged and tell her not to be either. God has a plan all set for her and if she is open to His Holy will for her, He will win and she will be doing exactly what He wants her to do.

If you don’t mind, what is her first name only. I like to pray for people if I can by their name. If you don’t want to give it, I understand and still will pray for her for the Lord knows who the prayers are going to. May the Lord give you strength to always be a witness to your age group. God Bless you dear.

May The Lord bless your efforts and watch over your friend and her dawning Faith…

God bless you, SacredHeartFan! Our Lord must surely be smiling upon you! I will be happy to pray for your friend, Rebecca.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I pray that Rebecca opens her heart and soul to The Holy Spirit and finds her way home! 🙂
