I’m so happy to announce that I began RCIA last Tuesday! It feels so “right” to begin this journey to learn more about the Catholic faith and enter into a deeper relationship with God.

Please pray for my RCIA group and our facilitators as we all begin our inquiry and, if we choose, our journey across the Tiber.

Thank you, and God Bless!

As an RCIA Catholic, I am so happy that you are beginning this journey. May God bless you and everyone in the program as you enter the Church.

+++++++++++

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

All my prayers to you and your group! I’m a Russian Orthodox convert and I will be going to confession this Saturday (7/19) and then be welcomed into the church as Catholic on Sunday. It’s been a long journey, I’ve been away from church for 34 years but I’m glad to finally be home. :dancing:

*Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.*

Wishing you many blessings and graces!

Blessings to you on your journey! I pray that every new thing you learn sinks deep into your heart. It’s a remarkable thing to be called by God to be a part of this One Holy and Apostolic Church.

It’s my fifteenth year as a Catholic, and I’m still amazed and in awe of all the gifts that have been given to this church. It’s also sad sometimes when our brothers and sisters who sit in the pew don’t seem to realize it, but then who am I to judge what’s in their heart. THEY are there, for one thing!

Every time I come home from Mass, my husband (lapsed Catholic) asks me who was there. Every time I say…

JESUS! JESUS was there!

Great answer! I have to remember that.

Hurrah to you and your group for making this journey!

It always make my heart swell to hear these stories and eventually see people get baptized during Easter vigil.

Have fun on your journey and welcome!!

St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us!

Well done good and faithful servant, Catholicism is pre denominational, We are the Originals.

From one Convert to you all, you have such a buzz awaiting you around every corner, the mountains of Reading, especially the Church Fathers, Ignatius of Antioch and Clement of Rome is excellent, another good book is Catholicism for Dummies, (no pun intended have it myself) great to look Catholic things up.

Welcome Home. Great.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Kewl …👍

Welcome aboard … I’ll say a prayer for you.

Like it starts out in Psalms, ch. 107:

**“Give thanks to the LORD for he is good,
his mercy endures forever!”

I’m happy for you and pray that you have a very fruitful time in RCIA. I was received into the Church this Easter at the age of 55 and it was a wonderful occasion. Enjoy the experience, it’s a great blessing!

Welcome! Praying for you and your group…

Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Spirit of wisdom and understanding, enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe in relation to eternity. Spirit of right judgment and courage, guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision to follow Jesus’ way of love. Spirit of knowledge and reverence, help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another. May we respect life as we work to solve problems of family and nation, economy and ecology. Spirit of God, spark our faith, hope and love into new action each day. Fill our lives with wonder and awe in your presence which penetrates all creation. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
