I am asking for prayers today for my relationship with my fiancé. It always seems as if we are getting into arguments over the silliest things. It feels as if we are beginning to grow apart and that every day turns into a disagreement. I have more love for her than I can explain. I pray that God can help set our relationship on a path of love and the path that it once was. I also pray that God can help me become less stubborn and less quick to anger and put my own selfish pride aside for the betterment of my relationship. .
 
Prayer to Help Our Engagement

Dear Lord,
I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current
relationship situation. Please take away all the pain
and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience,
and understanding. Bless me and my fiancée, so
that we may never surrender to whatever challenges
that come our way.

Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may
You make both of us realize each other’s worth.
Please touch the heart of my fiancée; fill it with
much love for me. Make our complicated
engagement become uncomplicated. I seek for Your
mercy and blessing that You may allow us to spend
the rest of our lives with each other. Please make
this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into
temptations. Guide us wherever we go. Always put
us in each other’s hearts and minds. Thank You,

Lord God - Maker of Miracles,
I pray for Youngcop2234 and his fiancee and their engagement and planned marriage.
I come against strife in Jesus’ name.
Lord, I ask that you would give this couple the understanding of how to bring greater peace to their relationship, and how to receive the motivation to do things that will improve their relationship and their later marriage.

Help both of them to have faith that you really are working to bring them out of this difficult situation.

Lord, I pray for this couple’s emotions. I pray that their emotions would move upward as they remember who you are, what power you have, and what love you have for them. Encourage them to ponder your everlasting love for them both.

I pray that they will both feel you steadying their feet.

Remind them that you are working to improve their situation. Remind them that small beginnings are still good beginnings. Bring them clear thinking and clear communications with each other, to combat confusion and misunderstandings. Bring them comfort through your Holy Spirit. Help them to fully receive the hope that lies in you.

Jesus, help this couple discern Your will in their lives. In doing so, if they are meant to be together let each realize the gift of dying to self that will allow their relationship to flourish in Your love and the love they have for each other. Amen.
