We visited our parents recently, and my sister spoke of eastern spirituality, opening her third eye, and chakra points.

I think unbeknownst to her, she (and her family) may be engaging in occult practices which they think are harmless philosophies about love and acceptance.

They know of Christianity but do not practice at all.

If able, please pray that they may not fall prey to occultism and for their conversion to the Truth that they are seeking but are looking at the wrong place.

Just so you are aware, eastern (Hindu or Buddhist) practices are not occult. They are rooted in thousands of years of philosophy and beliefs about the body and the spirit. Clearly, they are not Christian beliefs, but they are part of honored faith traditions. Please don’t worry about it all being occult.

Actually they ARE occult and OP specifically mentioned their sister talking about “opening of the 3rd eye” and Chakra points. The occult can and does veil itself behind “benign” (seemingly) things. Opening yourself to these things opens you up to the demonic regardless if that is how you see it or not. These religions deny Jesus Christ as God and teach we can “be as God’s” and “harness powers to use for our own gains”. Please be vary careful with these religions despite their teachings of love and peace.
