For my son--court hearing

Please pray for the wisdom and discernment of the Court in the hearing set for Aug. on a “hit and run” case: he slid into an intersection in the rain and pulled away to get out of the intersection and kept driving. He bumped into another car. She followed him. they ascertained there was no damage and she said she would let it go but for some reason reported it anyway and claimed $150 damage. The lawyers said it should come to nothing but evidently the court is making something of it because there have been numerous traffic violations and other court cases, most of which have been dropped by now; there are some fines and a second educational course to complete.

Please pray also for reconciliation between him and his father, as there was a D.V. charge against my husband for assaulting him and he, my husband, spent a night in jail.

Counseling with Project Rachel in the midst of five agencies working to clean up the house, now time for me to put in some elbow grease myself.

My heart is full of hope for healing in all this but also trepidation, praying in accordance with the instructions of my AWESOME counselor.

Lord God, please hear our prayers for our dear friend’s son and husband. I ask that You bless the judge and court officials with compassion, mercy and understanding. Touch the heart of lynnehelen’s son so that he may realize the folly of his ways and become a better son and person. Bless her husband so that he may be more understanding of his son and continue to love and cherish him. Bless lynnehelen as well with strength and a continued steadfast faith in You. St. Joseph, pray for them. AMEN.
