Heavenly God, I pray you will soften this mother’s heart to allow access to her and Tom’s children by the people who love them. I pray for this situation, that you will place your healing hand upon it, bringing peace. I pray for Teresa, that you will help her remain strong in her agony over not seeing her grandchildren. Such a lonely time. I pray for Tom, that he will be able to see his children once again, that he and Heather will be able to parent together in peace. It is my son Toms eldests sons 3rd birthday on Wednesday. It would be so wonderful if Heather softened her heart and allowed the children to see their father.So sad that she does not want to, nor is able to cope with being a full time mother to them at the moment and yet is stopping Tom (who wants to see them and loves them very much) from seeing them.The children are living with her mother and she lives in a hostel.
My son is very upset and misses them terribly and is ‘coping’ by misusing alcohol.
Children deserve to feel loved and secure. It is so very sad.
I place all my trust in God that His will be done.

Thank you for the udpate. My heart goes out to you. I wish this terrible situation would end. It is so sad when families come apart, but the children should still be able to receive the love and care of both parents.
Mother Mary, please intervene on behalf of Teresa’s son Tom and his children. Please ask or Lord to change Heather’s heart. Please heal whatever wounds she has that are causing her to act in this way. Please make sure these children know their Father loves them even though he isn’t able to see them. Please help Tom to deal with his own hurt in a way that is not harmful. Please give Teresa strength, peace, and calm in the face of this storm. Amen.
