Loving God our Father, please hold in your gentle grasp each of the family members involved in these special intentions raised by Trishie. It is so hard to stand by bearing witness to the difficulties our family members endure. Please bring your loving peace, healing, and resolution to the needs faced in this family that they may truly know through experience your personal touch upon each of them according to their personal and private need. Where her own body betrays its need for attention, please pour upon Trishie your healing grace; where she stands as a giver of comfort to her grandson and granddaughter, please be Trishie’s strength; where her son has needs which escape her ability to help, please comfort Trishie and lead her son to healing care; and upon Trishie’s grandchildren please grant that their needs be met and that they receive with welcoming hearts the love Trishie lavishes upon them.

For each of those who join into this thread of prayer, please strengthen their resolve to pray fervently and continuously over these intentions. May our hearts ever be lifted in prayer to you, our loving Father.

Precious Lord, please be near to Trishie and her son and grandson. Give refreshment and rest to my dear friend. Holy Spirit of God grant your peace and protection for Trishie and her dear ones. To You be the glory and the praise! Amen!

Prayer of Hope
We trust the Lord to bring us to fulfillment.
“See what love the Father has for us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.”
1 John 3: 1-3
We do not know what will become of us. We make many choices in life. We think of ourselves as free, but every choice limits freedom. We do not have the perspective of eternity; our every choice is made within the narrow limits of earthly existence. And so we make our way through life nearly blind, knowing little of what effect our choices will have on our future.

But God did not leave us alone in this world. He loved us so much that he sent his own beloved Son to be our light and our hope. He revealed to us that we are God’s children, that our life is in his hands, and that he will lead us to a fulfillment far greater than anything we could attain for ourselves. We need only trust him and follow his will.
“Lord God our Father, you created us for a purpose beyond our understanding. We cannot discern this purpose by our own powers, but you revealed it to the world by the death and resurrection of your Son. He revealed to us that we are your children, and that you created us to dwell with you in love for all eternity. He overcame sin and death to reconcile us with you. Free us from every form of bondage that separates us from you and purify us by the fire of your love. Guide us by the light of your truth, and lead us to the eternal life you have prepared for us.”

Thank goodness the Lord does not ask us to be strong on our own…we can’t. In all we go through we hold to 2 Corinthians, 12:9,10 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Lord, we lift up our sister in her weakness, make her strong and may Your power work in the lives of her family. In Jesus’ most precious name and for His glory, Amen!
