For my son...

Please pray for one of my children. :crossrc:

He’s not been himself for the past few months. We went to the doctor recently and now await the results of some blood tests that might explain what’s been going on. If the results are negative, we’re back to trying to figure out what the problem is.

Please pray that these blood test results are positive for the disease we suspect. If that’s what’s been the matter, it means my son’s problems easier to fix. If it’s not the disease we suspect. please pray for all of us as we try to sort though matters and decide what to do next.

We have not yet heard back about the test results. I continue to worry about my son so I’d appreciate more prayers for him and for our peace of mind. Thanks again.
 
Lord, you are in control and you are merciful. Grant this family total confidence in Your mercy and may they be perfectly abandoned to your mercy, as well. Grant this family peace of mind and help this couple’s son with his difficulty. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers! And thanks be to God that we know what’s been going on now!

Test results showed positive for the diagnosis I’d hoped it would be. We have some things to do and people to contact to remedy his current situation. This illness caused some difficulties for him beyond his health, and I hope we get that stuff all straighted out soon too. But now that we know this diagnosis, I just breathed a big sigh of relief that the problems aren’t more serious.

And please continue to pray for my son and our family that we can work out the difficulties that this illness caused.

Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have compassion now on gardenswithkids’ son who is ill. Grant him a healing of mind and body and restore his strength and spirit. Comfort him with the knowledge that we are praying for him and his family, and give them peace with a sense of Your presence. May they know that in a special way they are united with You, their suffering Christ. May they contribute to the welfare of the Whole People of God by associating themselves freely with Your passion and death for the salvation of the world. Bless, too, those who take care of the sick. In their own time of need, bestow on them a hundredfold the blessings they have given to others. In Your precious name Amen
