For my suffering friend

Hello all! My best friend, who suffers from Aspergers, has been deeply distressed, experiencing sadness, great fear, and even significant physical pain (he has stomach problems, for which he takes medication). He even receives added distress from family, one family member telling him to stop acting “like a baby” when he is so fearful that he cries! I ask your prayers for his happiness, peace of mind, and knowledge that God loves him with an infinite love. Please also pray that he may NEVER encounter suicidal thoughts, as he has to some extent in the past. Thank you, God bless you all!!! 🙂

Do I simply pray that single prayer each day, from the 7th to the 15th?

O Glorious Saint Pio, patron of those who are in need of healing, I call upon you and seek your help.
Please intercede for all those who are in need of spiritual, emotional or physical healing.

Obtain for them comfort during their sufferings, strength when they feel weary, hope when they feel discouraged, and joy when they are down-hearted.

Help them know the peace of Jesus and the certainty of His victory in their suffering, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Today’s rosary and Devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague went out for all of the petitioners and their intentions here on the Catholic Answers Board; this includes you.

As a likely Aspergian myself, (although not to the extent that your friend is), I understand his mental pain and confusion. May God send out His Holy Spirit to bless your friend with hope and peace and especially, personal understanding.

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Tiger’s friend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying for your dear friend! Can he/she see a medical doctor or psychiatrist to be evaluated? He may just need his anxiety calmed…
