Please pray for my brother who is very depressed, addicted to marijuana and is suicidal…

My Dear Lord, You know how weak we humans are, and how life can sometimes get us down. We ask that You look down upon Your child, Steve’s brother, and strengthen his spirit. Please, Lord, help him to leave his addictions and depressions behind, and draw closer to You. In Jesus name we pray.
 
Praying that your brother finds the hope that Jesus offers.

Praying for you too. Times like this can be trying for family.

I have a son who has previously suffered with depression and spoke of suicide. Thankfully he seems to have left that behind. I am avidly praying for the same wonderful improvement in your brother. I know how scary this can be for the loved ones worrying about their depressed relative. I am praying for you both.
Heavenly Father:

Please strengthen, uplift and uphold Steve’s brother in this time when he is having a hard time finding his own strength. Please surround him with your love and protection and let your light heal him from the darkness of depression. Please let him know how much he is loved and let him feel your presence in his life. Please let your love fill the void that he tries to fill with marijuana and please free him from this addiction.

the Holy Ghost enlighten us all the days of our life.
The Lord be our defender and keeper of body and soul,
both now and for ever, to the ages of ages.
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend Steve’s brother in his battles, physical, spiritual, mental, emotional. Be his protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, I humbly pray, and do thou, Great Prince of the Army of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about Steve’s brother seeking the destruction of his life and soul.

St. Dymphna, pray for him.

Holy Mother of God, hold him in your loving arms and keep him safe. Beseech the Holy Ghost, your Beloved Spouse, to descend upon his family that they may know how to help him.
