For my terminally ill uncle

Please pray for my uncle, who is terminally ill from complications of type 1 diabetes. His kidneys have failed, and now the vessel walls around his heart are so weak, that they could break any moment. He is not a candidate for open heart surgery, because he is so ill, and angioplasty has been ruled out as an option. His organs are failing, and he is so tired. Please pray for his peaceful death, that he will have final repentance, and die in a state of grace.

Please also pray for my aunt, his wife, who has financially lost everything to care for him, and is now about to lose her husand. Their house was foreclosed on, and now they live in a little guest house on the property of my other aunt. It is no bigger than a 2 car garage. Please pray for her, for her to have peace in God.

May God have mercy on them in this terrible trial.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen
 
O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence. This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

I will remember your Uncle and Aunt in my prayers and Mass today. May God be merciful and kind to them both.
