For my very sick Baby great grandaughter

Your little Ireland is beautiful!!! I am very happy to see things are going well. Thanks for keeping eveyone updated.
 
Wonderful news Maggie - thanks for the update. (My little guy thinks Ireland’s name is really beautiful.)
 
**Update: **Prayers again for Ireland Eve.

Test’s were done to discover what her UTI problem is. She unfortunately has a urinary system which does not operate properly. Her tubes back up the urine into both kidneys. She is on anti-biotics and they hope she will out grow it. But it could take 15 years. Unfortunately, it could also lead to kidney damage and they may have to do surgery.

I have a nephew who has had this problem, too. They discovered it when he was still in the womb during an ultra sound, so the doctors were able to start dealing with it immediately. He did have to have surgery, and it was very successful. He is now a happy and healthy 2 year old boy. They had wonderful doctors at Children’s Hospital in Omaha to work with. I know your family is in the Midwest, and if you would like me to find out Dr’s names, etc., please pm me and I’ll get that information for you.

In the mean time, I will still pray for your granddaughter.

Thank you.

We are working with Children’s Mercy, which is a very good hospital. So far they seem to be on top of it. I think thier speicalist work through a network and Omaha Childresn is in the mix too.

Your precious little Ireland is in my prayers. My little girls will add her to their nightly prayers as well.
