Please pray for my Vocation, so that I can live out my unique and precious calling as a human, as a man and as a Catholic, which Jesus has granted me before the beginning of Eternity.

Moreover, please pray for my Vocation discernment. If Jesus wishes to employ me as His humble servant, may I become a pious priest who diligently and piously serve the sheep in the Holy Church. I am not worthy of this great gift, for I am still a great sinner, but I wish to become holy and serve Jesus.

May my doubts be dismissed under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I am always hesitant about Jesus’s calling. I am also skeptical of the ecclesiastical hierarchy having read through many stories of priests’ abuses. My non-Catholic family would definitely oppose my Vocation for religious life (if any) vehemently, and not many would understand or appreciate my queer decision. I am skeptical of my ability to live a chaste life. I am also too immature and weak in Faith. Please pray that I will cooperate well with God’s plan and become the gift of God to His people.

I thank God for my current career as a future doctor, which is indeed a unique calling to serve the feeble. However, if God wishes, I do hope that I be called to the priesthood. If Jesus is finding some servants and He thinks I can become one, please do give me a chance.

Mama Mary, nothing can happen without your help. Please pray for me!

Dear Medicant Pilgrim, you once took care of sufferers from the plague and were always ready to help others by kind service and fervent prayers. You yourself had no home and you died in a dungeon. No wonder countless invalids have confidently invoked your help.
Please pray for anonymous1995 and help us all become spiritually healthy.

A Prayer for Priestly Vocations

O Lord, my God, You renew the Church in every
age by raising up priests outstanding in holiness,
living witnesses of Your unchanging Love. In Your
Plan for our salvation You provide shepherds
for Your people.

Fill the hearts of young men with the spirit
of courage and love that they may answer Your
call generously. Give parents the grace to encourage
vocations in their family by prayer and good example.

Raise up worthy priests for Your Altars and ardent,
but gentle servants of the Gospel. Give the Church
more priests and keep them faithful in their love and
service. May many young men choose to serve You
by devoting themselves to the service of Your people.
