This is small in contrast with the more urgent intentions here, but it would mean a lot to me to have your prayers. I am praying that my director will offer me (so I don’t have to ask b/c I’m too shy) to go back to a 36-hour work-week as I enjoyed about 2 years ago. Last year, DH took off work to pick the kiddos up from school and worked from home for a couple of hours every day. The last few months of school, this became impossible and we had to pay for after school care, which we really couldn’t afford. If I could cut back to 36 hours, it would allow me to get off when their school day ends all but one day a week which we could arrange with either my DH or our sitter.

The ultimate prayer is that DH will find a job suitable to his talents that gives him joy and satisfaction and pays him well enough for me to stay home FT, but for now, I just ask for this small help.

Praying for you. Have you considered writing to your director, so you don’t have to initiate a face-to-face conversation?
 
Praying to St. Joseph for your DH to secure the employment he needs.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

I am definitely praying that everything works out great. I pray that God Blesses you with perseverance and great news.
