For Nancy's heart

Nancy has 3 blockages to her heart and will be needing open heart surgery. Please pray for successful surgery and for other issues she is facing. She is the wife of Cal, who I asked prayers for months ago. He had kidney failure and was on dialysis. Well, he still is on it, but has been in a nursing home. The doctors haven’t expected him to live this long, but he is fooling everyone.

MEdicare has run out for Cal’s nursing home, and it is going to cost them $12,000 for the next month. Then they don’t know what they will do. He cannot care for himself. Needs constant help. Nancy has been running back and forth to visit him and has dropped 70 pounds since May. Needless to say this hasn’t helped her heart condition.

Please pray for this couple. They are senior citizens, both ill, and obviously Nancy won’t be able to care for Cal at home any time soon. She’ll need someone to care for her. They could very well lose their home.

Please continue to pray for Nancy and Cal. She will be having a surgery next week, I think. And I cannot think of the name of the procedure. It’s where they go into a vein towards the heart to try to get rid of the blockages. The three have gone together into one large blockage. If that doesn’t work, then they will do ‘regular’ surgery. She is continuing to lose weight.

Cal is in a different nursing home, as he had a lung problem and now has a drain that must be taken care of. The first nursing home would not accept him back from the hospital. He still wants to go home, but he cannot.

I don’t know what could even help at this point, but God does. Naturally, for Nancy to be cured of the blockage. Maybe some kind of financial aid for Cal to remain in a nursing home. And for his state of mind.
